It looks like a room now!!!
So the drywall guy came yesterday...it actually looks like a room now. We get to start painting this weekend!!! I'll post some pictures of that fun. My sister will be down here helping, hopefully we can use her artistic eye for some good colors and design. Wish us luck with the painting. Enjoy the pictures and we look forward to having everyone over so a wine kick off party :-) So much clean up now...after the painting we are just waiting for the cabinets to finish being built and then they get installed...more pictures to come

More Progress
So we now have the tankless water heater, the big old one is gone out of the house, finished!!! The washer and dryer have been moved out of the kitchen, so big in there without those two items. They made great progress on the electrical, I can see where all the outlets will be...a ton of them!!! And I'm pretty sure the plumbing is all done. Now we just need some drywall to go in and then we can take over with the painting! Always fun, trying to pick out the colors :-) I have about 4 rooms out of the 5 in the house to paint so it should be fun trying to squeeze that in a weekend...enjoy the pictures.

Construction Begins
Holy Moly can those guys work fast! Tried to take some pictures when I got home last night...didn't really capture the progress too well. But they finished the majority of the plumbing. Set up the area for the washer and dryer. Replaced the header to completely open up the wall. Today they should be installing the tankless water heater, finishing plumbing, replacing our electrical box and hopefully tiling for the washer and dryer. The doggies went to "daycare" and were so worn out from the fun with the other two dogs that Sequioa passed out immediately. Check out the pictures and check back regularly for updates.

Kitchen Remodel
Demo has begun. Kyle and I have worked super duper hard to get the kitchen ready for construction to start. The contractor is supposed to be here bright and early in the morning to start our complete full remodel. We are tearing down a wall to put in a breakfast bar. Utilities will be rearranged and the best news of all, we are getting a washing machine, bye bye doing dishes by hand!!! Oh yeah and we'll be getting a new tankless water heater, meaning the old huge tank is no longer in the kitchen. Our washer and dryer is being moved out of the kitchen and into the hall way, so nice to get that extra space. We can't wait to get this finished so we can have all of our friends over for dinner and some wine. I can not wait to cook in a kitchen with counter space, not having to think creatively about how to phase my cooking! New appliances and no more yucky old flooring. Take a look at the pictures and we'll try to update them as progress moves along.
