Easter Weekend

So Nensi and I went to Woodland for Easter weekend. While there we went to the Britney Spears concert with my mom and sister. Check out the pictures :-) My sister was Britney from 'Baby one more Time', Nensi was Britney from 'Me against the Music', my mom was Britney from 'Womanizer' and I was Britney from 'Piece of Me.' We had so much fun! I'll put up some pictures from the rest of the weekend in a post later this week.

Functional

I came home last night to all my appliances in and working! I immediately popped a frozen lasagna in the the oven...cut me some slack, I don't have any food to make anything homemade right now. Possible for tonight :-) Check out the new "stuff". It is all Fridgedar...it's their silver line, so it has the stainless look but no finger print marks ... I think it looks fabulous

Countertops!!

Surprise surprise to me, the counters are in and look beautiful. I didn't think they would be ready for another couple weeks. Check them out, we are so happy how they turned out. Contractor said we should have a functioning kitchen by the end of the week! I am so happy it's incredible...that means we can put our house back together :-) Can't wait to have everyone over to show it off...may need a couple extra weekends to whip our yard back into shape again, puppies have a way of sending tornadoes through nice yards...oh well, we'll get there. Enjoy the pictures.

Just for you Nensi!

Not too much changed since last post...oh yeah, we started filling up our new kitchen :-) Thank goodness, I can finally get into bed without climbing over half our kitchen...Two of our appliances get delivered today, fridge and stove, YAY!!!! Doesn't our pantry rock...more to come after the appliances, oh and then the counter tops :-)

quick picture of what I came home to last night...they should be done placing and grouting when I get home today!!! Seal those bad boys tomorrow and then appliances Monday...then i'll be like this close (imagine me holding up a 'pinch' simple) to having a real grown up kitchen all my own. :-)

So....

what does everyone think? Looks like darn nice kitchen to me. I can't wait to put of things back in the kitchen...it will be so nice to be able to walk to my bed without stumbling over pots and pans. Oh and a picture of our faucet :-)
